These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Eazy Reminder app and website (the "Service"), provided by SHREEKUNJ SOFTECH PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", the "Company"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eazy Reminder is offered in a free version and paid (subscription) versions. If you stay signed out, content may remain primarily on your device. If you sign in, eligible content (including reminders, notes, Todos, clock alarms, and calendar events) may sync to our servers, subject to plan limits shown in the app. Paid plans add higher limits and extra features such as sharing and optional calendar export. Some clauses below apply differently depending on the version you use.

1. Your Account

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping access to your phone number secure. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country. We reserve the right to suspend or close any account that contains false, misleading, or inappropriate information.

2. Licence to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own lawful, personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms. Except as expressly permitted, you must not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, sell, sub-license, or create derivative works from the Service, nor remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans (Basic, Pro, Premium) are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. We only support in-app purchases made through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• You may upgrade to a higher plan during an active subscription, but plans cannot be downgraded, and subscriptions are not transferable between accounts.
• If your subscription lapses or is not renewed, certain paid features (including sharing, optional Google Calendar / Apple Calendar export, and higher cloud limits) may be disabled, and your cloud-stored data is retained for the period described in Section 4 before deletion.

4. Cancellation, Refunds & Data on Deactivation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled solely according to the policies of Apple or Google; we do not separately process payments or refunds. Except where required by applicable law, payments once made are non-refundable.

If you delete your account, or your paid plan is deactivated, expires, or is cancelled, we retain a backup of your cloud-stored data for one (1) month from the date of deletion or deactivation, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered. Deleting your Eazy Reminder account does not cancel a store subscription and does not automatically delete events already written to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the reminders, notes, Todos, clock alarms, calendar events, and other content you create. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and sync your content solely to operate the Service for you (including cloud backup and sharing you initiate, and optional calendar export you connect). You represent that you own or have the right to use any content you upload (such as photos, documents, voice memos, bills, or medical records) and that it does not infringe the rights of others or violate any law. You are responsible for your content and must not upload anything unlawful, infringing, obscene, or harmful. We reserve the right to remove, restrict, or refuse to store any content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Data Storage & Your Responsibility for Backups

If you use the Service without signing in, your data may remain only on your device. In that case we do not store, back up, or have access to it, and we are not responsible or liable for any loss, corruption, or deletion of this data (including loss caused by uninstalling the app, clearing app data, or device loss, theft, damage, or reset).

If you sign in, eligible content may sync to our servers, including on a free plan, subject to the limits shown in the app. Paid plans may provide higher limits and extra features. Even so, the Service is not intended to be your sole backup. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any important information, and we are not liable for data loss except to the extent required by law.

7. Sharing

When you share a reminder, note, or folder, you are responsible for the content you share and for ensuring you have the right to share it. Recipients you choose will be able to view the shared item. Sharing features may be available only in the paid version.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: accessing it in unauthorised ways; reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling it; disrupting or interfering with its operation; uploading malware; data mining, scraping, or harvesting data from the Service; reproducing or modifying the Service without our permission; or using it to violate any law or the rights of others.

9. Reminders, Alarms, and Events Are Not Guaranteed

Important: the Service is a convenience tool. Reminder, clock-alarm, and calendar-event notifications depend on your device, operating system, battery settings, Do Not Disturb / Focus modes, exact-alarm permission (Android), and network, and may be delayed or not delivered. You should not rely on the Service for critical, time-sensitive, medical, financial, or safety matters. We are not liable for any missed reminder, alarm, or event alert.

10. Availability & Changes to the Service

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Access may be suspended or restricted for maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, or reasons beyond our control. We may improve, change, add, or remove features, products, or content of the Service at any time, with or without prior notice. Interruptions or changes to the Service do not in themselves entitle you to terminate a subscription or to a refund.

11. Feedback, Reviews & Comments

Any reviews, comments, feedback, or suggestions you submit must comply with applicable law and these Terms, and represent your own personal views. We are not responsible for views expressed by users, and we may remove, edit, or refuse to retain any submission that violates these Terms, infringes the rights of others, or is otherwise objectionable. By submitting feedback, you allow us to use it to operate and improve the Service without obligation to you.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, features, and functionality, is owned by the Company and/or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence granted to you in these Terms, no material from the Service may be copied, modified, reproduced, downloaded, or distributed in any form, in whole or in part, without our express prior written permission.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar / EventKit, device speech recognition, and others). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or practices of any third-party service, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies. In addition, your mobile network or telecommunications carrier may collect data or charge fees in connection with your use of the Service; we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any network operator.

14. Area & Location-Based Reminders

Area reminders (arrive-at-place reminders) are optional. If you enable them and grant location permission, the app uses your device's location — including while the app is in the background or not in use — solely to detect when you arrive at a place you chose for a reminder. We do not use this location for advertising, tracking, or sale.

You may turn Area reminders off at any time in Settings → Location, or withdraw location permission in your device settings; doing so stops background location use and Area reminders will no longer trigger. Location reminders that only store a place you pick, without Area reminders enabled, do not require continuous background location.

Area reminders depend on device location accuracy, GPS and network signal, battery-saver and background-activity restrictions, and operating-system limits on geofencing. They may trigger late, trigger early, or not trigger at all. Section 9 applies equally to Area reminders, and you should not rely on them for critical, time-sensitive, medical, financial, or safety matters.

15. Clock Alarms

Clock alarms are an optional convenience feature. You may set a label, time, repeat days, sound, and vibrate options. If you are signed in, alarm settings may sync to our servers so you can restore them on another device. Clock alarms are not exported to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.

Clock alarms depend on device notification permission, Android exact-alarm permission, volume, Focus / Do Not Disturb, battery restrictions, and the operating system. They may ring late or not at all. Section 9 applies. Clock alarms are not a substitute for a medical device, emergency alarm, or any critical safety system.

16. Calendar Events

Calendar events are optional in-app events (title, notes, place text, start/end, all-day, colour, repeat, and optional alert). They are separate from Home reminders. If you are signed in, eligible events may sync to our servers. Free and trial plans may have a create limit; paid Pro may have higher or unlimited cloud events, as shown in the app.

Event “place” is text you enter. It is not used for background Area / arrive location tracking unless you separately enable Area reminders on a reminder. Event alerts are convenience notifications only. Section 9 applies.

17. Optional Calendar Export (Google Calendar & Apple Calendar)

Calendar export is optional and requires a paid Pro plan and your explicit connection or permission. It is a one-way convenience export of Eazy Reminder reminders (not notes, not clock alarms, and not a two-way sync of your entire Google or Apple calendar).

Google Calendar: if you choose Connect, you authorise Google Sign-In and the calendar.events scope. We send a server authorisation code to our backend, store an encrypted refresh token with your account, and may create, update, or delete matching events on your primary Google Calendar (title, description, date/time, recurrence). We do not import or read your other Google Calendar events. Your use of Google Calendar is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Apple Calendar (iOS/iPad only): if you allow Calendar access, the app writes reminders on this device via Apple EventKit, typically into a calendar titled “Eazy Reminder”. Identifiers stay on the device. We do not upload Apple Calendar contents to our servers. Your use of Apple Calendar is also subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

If both are connected on the same iPhone or iPad, Apple writes are paused so the same reminder is not duplicated.

You can disconnect Google Calendar or revoke Apple Calendar permission at any time in Settings or system settings. Disconnecting stops new writes. Events already created in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar are not automatically deleted; you must remove them there if you wish.

You are responsible for the reminder content you export. Calendar export may fail, delay, or omit items (network, token expiry, Google/Apple limits, or plan change). We do not guarantee that an exported event will appear, update, or alert in Google or Apple Calendar. Section 9 applies.

Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use, as described in our Privacy Policy.

18. Advertising

The current app build does not show in-app advertisements and does not currently include Google AdMob or other advertising SDKs. We do not sell your reminders, notes, alarms, events, or other content to advertisers.

If we later enable advertising on a free tier, we will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and we will update App Store / Play Console disclosures, before or when ads ship. Any future ads would not be shown while a paid subscription is active.

19. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, error-free, or free from interruption, technical failure, transmission errors, or unauthorised access.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including missed alarms, missed event alerts, or failed calendar export. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

22. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or to protect the Service and its users, or as required by law. We are not liable for any loss arising from suspension or termination of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences you have granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.

23. Waiver & Severability

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or of any other. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be interpreted to give effect, as far as possible, to the parties' original intentions.

24. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations, including to a successor or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

26. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration provision below, the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your local law requires otherwise. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms may, at our discretion, be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the Indian Council of Arbitration, with the seat of arbitration at New Delhi, India, and the proceedings conducted in English.
