Terms & Conditions

These Terms are an agreement between you and SHREEKUNJ SOFTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (“the Company”, “we”, “us”), the maker of Eazy Reminder. They cover the Eazy Reminder apps for Android, iPhone and iPad, the web application at web.eazyreminder.com, and this website (together, the Service). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

This is an electronic record under the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your information.

1. Your account

You may use much of the Service without an account, in which case your data stays on your device. To sync between devices, share, or use the web application you need an account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, and the Service is not intended for children under 13. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your phone number or email address, or your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for keeping access to that phone number, email address or account secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@eazyreminder.com if you think someone else has access.

You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. One person should use one account; accounts are not transferable.

2. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes, in line with these Terms. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

3. Plans, trial and billing

Eazy Reminder has two plans: Free and Pro. Pro is sold as a monthly or an annual subscription, and an optional extra-storage pack can be added to it. On the Free plan, every feature that works on your device alone is available without a cap; Pro adds sending shares, more cloud sync and storage, calendar export and the web application, and removes ads. The features and limits of each plan are shown in the app and on our pricing page, and may change as the product develops.

Free trial. When you create an account you get a 3-day trial of Pro. The trial is granted by us inside the app, not by the App Store or Google Play: it does not require a payment method and it does not convert into a paid subscription. When it ends, your account simply continues on the Free plan. Some paid features — sending shares and calendar export — are not part of the trial.

Payment. Subscriptions are bought and billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play in your local currency, under their terms. The price you see at checkout in the store is the price that applies. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and the store charges the renewal within 24 hours before the end of each period. We do not receive or store your card details.

Changes in price. If we change subscription prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, and the store will notify you as its rules require. You can cancel before the renewal if you do not accept the new price.

If a subscription ends. Paid features such as sending shares, calendar export, the web application and the higher storage and sync limits stop working, and your account returns to the Free plan. Features that work on your device alone stay available. Your content is not deleted; content above the Free limits stays on your device but stops syncing until you are back within the limits or upgrade again.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; the app links to that screen. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and cancelling does not give a refund for the current period.

Because Apple and Google take the payment, refunds are governed by their policies and processed by them, not by us. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. If something has gone wrong, write to support@eazyreminder.com and we will help you raise it with the store.

Deleting your Eazy Reminder account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it separately or you will keep being charged.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create in the Service — reminders, notes, folders, to-do boards, payment and health reminders, alarms, events and attachments. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transmit and sync that content only in order to run the Service for you, including cloud sync, notification delivery, any sharing you start and any calendar export you connect. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies another person has already received through a share.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone's rights. You are responsible for your content. We may remove or refuse to store content that breaches these Terms or the law.

6. Storage, limits and backups

Signed out. If you use the Service without signing in, your data stays on your device only. We do not hold it, cannot recover it, and are not responsible for its loss — including loss caused by uninstalling the app, clearing app data, or a device being lost, stolen, damaged or reset.

Signed in. Eligible content syncs to our servers within the limits of your plan, which are shown in the app. Attachments are limited per item and per file — currently up to 12 photos and 12 documents on a reminder, with a maximum of 50 MB per file — and some file types cannot be uploaded for security reasons. We may change these limits.

The Service is not a backup service. Even with sync, keep your own copies of anything important. Every plan includes a backup and restore feature on mobile, which writes a backup file to your own device — we never receive that file, and we cannot recover it for you.

7. Sharing, groups and invites

You can share a reminder, note or folder by phone number, to a Family & Friends group you create, or with an invite link. Sending a share requires a paid Pro subscription and is not included in the free trial. Receiving and accepting a share works on a paid plan or during an active trial.

Sharing creates a copy for the recipient. Once they accept, that copy is theirs: they can change or delete it, you cannot withdraw it, and deleting your own copy does not delete theirs. Think of it as handing something over rather than a shared live document.

You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to share it, including anyone else's personal information contained in it. Only invite people who have agreed to hear from you. Invites expire if unused.

8. Referrals

Refer & Earn lets you invite people you know and gives both of you extra Pro days when they join and qualify. Invites are limited in number per month, pending invites expire, and the reward amounts are shown in the app and may change.

You send the invitation yourself from your own device — we do not message anyone on your behalf. Only invite people who would want to hear from you; bulk or unsolicited messaging is not allowed. We may withhold or reverse rewards, and suspend access to the programme, where we reasonably believe it is being abused, for example with fake or duplicate accounts.

9. Alerts are not guaranteed

This is important. Reminders, pre-reminders, clock alarms, event alerts and arrive alerts all depend on things outside our control: your device, its operating system, notification permissions, exact-alarm permission on Android, battery optimisation and power-saving modes, Do Not Disturb and Focus modes, manufacturer restrictions on background apps, volume settings, and network availability. Alerts may arrive late, or not at all.

You should not rely on the Service as your only safeguard for anything critical, time-sensitive, medical, financial or safety-related. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any missed, late or undelivered alert, or for anything that follows from one.

10. Payment reminders

Payment reminders let you record bills, EMIs, rent, subscriptions and money you are owed, with an amount, a category, a person or biller, an optional payment link, and a history of what you marked as settled.

This is a record-keeping and reminder feature only. Eazy Reminder does not process payments, does not connect to your bank, does not verify that a bill is real or that a payment was actually made, and gives no financial, tax or investment advice. Marking something as paid changes nothing except your own record. Any payment link you save is one you provided, and opening it takes you to a third party whose terms apply. Always check with your bank or the biller before acting.

11. Health reminders

Health reminders let you record medicines, doses, timings, prescriptions, lab tests and check-ups for yourself or your family, and note the doses you have taken.

Eazy Reminder is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not check whether a dose is correct or safe, does not detect interactions between medicines, and is not a substitute for your doctor or pharmacist. Always follow the instructions of a qualified healthcare professional, and never change a medicine or dose because of something the app shows. The alerting limits in section 9 apply in full — do not depend on the app alone for a dose that must not be missed.

If you record health information about another person, such as a parent or child, you confirm that you are entitled to do so.

12. Arrive alerts and location

Arrive alerts are optional. If you turn them on and grant location permission, the app uses your device's location — including in the background — only to detect that you have reached a place you chose. We do not use that location for advertising, tracking or sale, and the coordinates stay on your device.

You can turn arrive alerts off in the app or withdraw location permission at any time. Attaching a place to a reminder, without arrive alerts, does not require background location.

Arrive alerts depend on signal, battery-saver settings and operating-system limits on geofencing. They may trigger late, early or not at all. Section 9 applies.

13. Clock alarms and events

Clock alarms let you set a label, time, repeat days, sound and vibration. Calendar events are in-app events with a title, notes, a place you type, start and end times, colour, repeat rule and an alert — separate from your reminders. If you are signed in, both sync to your account within your plan's limits.

Clock alarms are not a substitute for a medical device, an emergency alarm or any critical safety system. The place on an event is plain text and is not used for background location tracking. Section 9 applies to both.

14. Calendar export

Exporting to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar is optional, requires a paid Pro plan, and must be connected or permitted by you. It is a one-way export of reminders — not notes, not alarms — and it is not a two-way sync of your calendar.

Google Calendar: connecting authorises the calendar.events permission so we can create, update and delete the matching events on your primary calendar. We do not read or import your other events. Google's terms and privacy policy also apply, and our use of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy including Limited Use, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Apple Calendar (iPhone and iPad): with Calendar permission the app writes reminders into a calendar on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us. If Google Calendar is also connected on the same device, Apple writes pause so events are not duplicated.

You can disconnect at any time, which stops new writes. Events already created in Google or Apple Calendar remain until you delete them there. Export can fail, lag or omit items, and we do not guarantee that an exported event will appear, update or alert. Section 9 applies.

15. The web application

The web application at web.eazyreminder.com requires a paid Pro plan or an active trial. You sign in by scanning a QR code with the phone app, which approves that browser session; we record the browser's user agent and IP address for that session so it can be reviewed and revoked.

The web application can only show notifications while it is open in your browser. A browser that is closed cannot alert you — your phone remains responsible for reminders and alarms. Data the web application stores in your browser is removed if you clear your site data; anything already synced remains in your account. Do not use the web application on a shared or public computer unless you sign out afterwards.

16. Locked notes and folders

You can lock notes and folders with a six-digit PIN. Locked contents are encrypted on your device before they sync, and your PIN is never sent to us.

If you forget your PIN and have not enabled PIN recovery, nobody can unlock that content — including us. That is a consequence of the encryption, not a fault, and we cannot help you recover it. If you enable PIN recovery, a recovery key is held on our servers so that access can be restored after you verify an email code; that is more convenient but means the content is not readable by you alone. Choose the option you prefer.

17. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to break anyone's rights; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it; disrupt or interfere with its operation or security; upload malware; scrape, data-mine or harvest from it; use it to send unsolicited messages; resell or commercially exploit it without our permission; or get around plan limits, trial restrictions or payment requirements.

18. Advertising

The Android and iPhone apps show banner ads served by Google AdMob when you use them without signing in or on the Free plan. Ads are not shown to Pro or trial accounts, and the web application shows no ads. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.

Ads are provided by Google, and the data they use — your advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data — is described in our Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before ads are personalised, and you can change that choice in the app. We do not sell your reminders, notes, alarms, events or any other content to advertisers, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to.

19. Availability and changes

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Access may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades, technical problems or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change or remove features at any time. Interruptions or changes do not by themselves entitle you to end a subscription or receive a refund.

We may also require you to update to a current version of the app, and may stop supporting older versions or operating systems.

20. Intellectual property

The Service — its software, design, text, graphics, logos, trade marks, features and functionality — belongs to the Company or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. Apart from the licence in section 2, nothing may be copied, modified, reproduced, downloaded or distributed without our written permission. This does not affect your ownership of your own content.

21. Third-party services

The Service connects to third parties including the App Store, Google Play, Firebase, RevenueCat, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and your device's speech recognition. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, legality or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. Your mobile network may also charge you for data; we are not responsible for network operators.

22. Feedback

Feedback, reviews, comments and suggestions you send must be your own views and must comply with the law and these Terms. We may remove or decline to keep anything that breaches these Terms, infringes others' rights or is objectionable. By sending feedback you allow us to use it to operate and improve the Service, with no obligation to you.

23. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, error-free or uninterrupted, or free from technical failure, transmission error or unauthorised access.

24. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including missed reminders, missed alarms, missed doses, missed payments or failed calendar export. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, or any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your country.

25. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, directors and employees against claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your breach of any law or third-party right.

26. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from inside the app. Your account is deactivated immediately and your data is kept for 30 days so you can recover it by signing in again; after that it is permanently deleted and cannot be restored. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy. Remember that deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.

We may suspend, restrict or end your access if you breach these Terms, to protect the Service and its users, or where the law requires it. Terms that should survive termination — licences you granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law — continue to apply.

27. General

If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of it. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that provision is read as closely as possible to its original intent. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours, including to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.

We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted here with a new “last updated” date, and where appropriate we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

28. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration provision below, the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your local law requires otherwise. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms may, at our discretion, be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the rules of the Indian Council of Arbitration, with the seat of arbitration at New Delhi, India, conducted in English.
