This Privacy Policy explains how SHREEKUNJ SOFTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (hereafter "Eazy Reminder", "we", "us", or "our") collects, processes, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use the Eazy Reminder mobile applications (Android and iOS/iPad), the web application, and related websites (together, the "Services"). It also tells you how you can access and update your information and make certain choices about how your information is used.

This legal agreement is an electronic record in terms of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder as applicable, and the amended provisions about electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000.

Eazy Reminder helps you create and manage reminders, notes, folders, and Todos (boards, lists, and cards), clock alarms, and calendar events, including optional attachments and location-based arrive alerts, plus optional export of reminders to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, through a user-friendly application on Android, iOS/iPad, and the web.

Important for Apple App Store and Google Play: This policy describes the data practices of the current app build. We do not currently show in-app advertising. Optional Google Calendar export and optional Apple Calendar export (iOS/iPad) are available to signed-in Pro users who choose to connect them. Clock alarms and in-app calendar events are part of the current build. If we later add advertising or change how calendar export works, we will update this Privacy Policy and our App Store / Play Console disclosures before or when those changes ship.

1. Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the Services with immediate effect. By visiting or using the Services, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is binding upon you whenever you visit or use the Services, including while registering, creating content, purchasing a subscription, or contacting support.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve the Services. Depending on how you use Eazy Reminder, we may collect:

• Account information: name, phone number, email address, country/calling code, and profile details you choose to provide. Sign-in may use phone one-time passwords (via Firebase Authentication) and/or email one-time passwords processed by our servers.
• User content: reminders, notes, folders, schedules, recurrence settings, status, and attachments you add (such as photos, voice memos, PDFs, or other files you choose to attach), as well as Todos content (board titles, lists, cards, checklists, labels, due dates, and related activity), clock alarms (label, time, repeat days, sound/vibrate preferences), and calendar events (title, notes, place text, start/end time, all-day flag, colour, repeat rule, and alert offset).
• Clock alarms: if you create a clock alarm, we store the alarm label, hour and minute, repeat days, on/off state, vibrate and sound choices, and related notification identifiers on your device. If you are signed in, those alarm settings may sync to our servers so you can restore them on another device. Alarms are not exported to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.
• Calendar events: if you create an in-app calendar event, we store the event details listed above on your device. If you are signed in, eligible events may sync to our servers (free and trial plans may have a create limit; Pro may have higher or unlimited cloud events, as shown in the app). Event “place” is text you type or pick — it is not used for background Area / arrive location tracking.
• Location data:
  • Place you attach to a reminder: if you choose a location (including “use my current location”), we store the place information you select with that reminder.
  • Area / arrive reminders (mobile): if you enable Area reminders and grant the required location permission (including Always / background location on iOS and the equivalent permission on Android where required), we access your device’s precise location — including while the app is in the background or not in use — solely to detect when you arrive at a place you chose. We do not use this location data for advertising, tracking unrelated to that feature, or selling.
  • Web app: if you use Area / location features in the browser, location is accessed only while the relevant tab/session is active. The web app cannot monitor location when the browser is fully closed.
• Contacts (optional): if you use sharing features and grant contacts permission, we may read contacts you select (or that you allow the app to search) so you can share a reminder/folder/note or invite someone. Contact data is used only to provide sharing/invite features you initiate.
• Sharing / Family & Friends: when you create share groups or share content, we process group names, member phone numbers you add, share invitations, and the shared content copies needed to deliver the share to recipients.
• Google Calendar connection (optional, Pro): if you choose Connect Google Calendar, Google Sign-In asks for your Google email and the calendar.events scope. The app sends a one-time server authorization code to our backend. We exchange it for an offline refresh token, which we store encrypted with your account, together with the Google email you connected and the connection time. After that, when you create or update a reminder (not a note), our servers may create, update, or delete a matching event on your primary Google Calendar (title, description, start/end time, recurrence). We store Google’s event id on that reminder so we can update or remove it later. We do not import, list, or read your other Google Calendar events. Connecting is optional; you can disconnect in Settings, which revokes the token and deletes the stored token and Google email from our systems.
• Apple Calendar export (optional, Pro, iOS/iPad only): if you allow Calendar access, the app writes your reminders onto this device using Apple EventKit, typically into a calendar titled “Eazy Reminder” (title, notes, start/end, recurrence). A mapping of our reminder id to Apple’s event id is stored only on the device. We do not upload your Apple Calendar contents or EventKit identifiers to our servers. Disconnecting stops new writes; existing events already written to Apple Calendar remain unless you delete them in Calendar. If Google Calendar is also connected on iOS, Apple writes are paused so the same reminder is not duplicated.
• Speech / voice commands (optional): if you use voice commands or “Hey Eazy”, the app uses the microphone and the device/OS speech recognizer to convert your speech into text for creating a reminder or note. That recognition happens on the device / operating system. We do not upload the raw voice-command recording to our servers. If you separately attach a voice memo to a reminder, that recording is user content and may sync as an attachment.
• Device and push identifiers: device identifiers reasonably needed for the Services, and push notification tokens (for example Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens on mobile and, when configured, web push tokens) so we can deliver reminder-related, alarm, event-alert, and share/invite notifications.
• Subscription / purchase information: whether you have an active trial or paid plan, entitlement status, and related billing metadata received from Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card number; card processing is handled by Apple, Google, or the applicable billing provider. Google Calendar and Apple Calendar export require a paid Pro plan.
• Web / PWA preferences: browser notification permission state and, if you install the Progressive Web App, related install/notification preferences used to deliver due and pre-reminders while your browser is running.
• Technical / usage information: IP address, basic device/app information, and logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Services. Our marketing website may use cookies as described below.
• Correspondence: emails or other messages you send to support, and related correspondence.
• Information you voluntarily provide in forms, settings, or feedback.

We do not currently collect advertising identifiers for ads, and we do not currently run third-party advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob) in the app. Calendar export happens only if you connect Google Calendar or allow Apple Calendar. We do not use calendar data for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• To provide reminders, notes, folders, Todos, attachments, notifications, and sync/backup features.
• To provide clock alarms and in-app calendar events, including scheduling local notifications you configure.
• To deliver Area / arrive-at-place reminders you configure, using location only for that purpose.
• To enable sharing, invites, and Family & Friends groups you set up.
• To export reminders you choose to Google Calendar (via our servers) or Apple Calendar (on this iOS/iPad device only), when you connect those optional features.
• To recognise spoken commands on the device when you use voice create.
• To manage subscriptions, trials, entitlements, and storage limits associated with your plan.
• To send service-related messages (for example account verification, security notices, or important service announcements). We may also contact you about product updates or offers related to the Services where permitted by law; you can opt out of non-essential marketing emails by contacting us.
• To diagnose problems, secure the Services, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
• To respond to support requests.

4. Local Storage, Cloud Sync, and Retention

4.1 How storage works

Eazy Reminder is designed to work offline-first on your device. Depending on whether you are signed in and on your plan:

• On your device: reminders, notes, Todos, clock alarms, calendar events, and settings may be stored locally so the app works offline.
• Cloud sync (when signed in): if you sign in, eligible content may sync to our servers so you can use multiple devices and restore data. Free and paid plans may have different sync and storage limits (for example a free-tier cloud reminder limit, a free/trial calendar-event create limit, and higher limits or storage for Pro). Exact limits are shown in the app.
• Google Calendar tokens (when you connect): the encrypted refresh token and connected Google email are stored with your account on our servers until you disconnect or delete your account.
• Apple Calendar mappings stay on the iPhone or iPad only and are not part of our cloud backup.
• Guest / not signed in: content may remain primarily on the device until you sign in and sync.

We retain account and synced content for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. If you delete content in the app, we remove or stop syncing that content according to our systems. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with the account as described below, subject to legal retention requirements.

4.2 Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app (for example from Profile / account settings). Account deletion removes your account and associated cloud data from our systems according to our deletion process, including any stored Google Calendar refresh token. Deleting your Eazy Reminder account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account subscription settings to stop billing. It also does not automatically delete events already written to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar; remove those in Google Calendar or the iOS Calendar app if you wish.

4.3 Backup after deletion or plan change

After account deletion, or if a paid plan ends, we may retain a limited backup of synced data for up to one (1) month to allow recovery if you contact us, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems except where longer retention is required by law.

5. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share information only as follows:

• Service providers that help us operate the Services, strictly as needed to provide those services (see Section 6).
• People you share with: when you share a reminder, folder, note, or invite someone, recipients receive the content/invite details needed for that share.
• Google: if you connect Google Calendar, we send reminder event fields (title, description, date/time, recurrence) to Google’s Calendar API to create, update, or delete events on your primary calendar. Google processes that data under Google’s policies.
• Apple: if you allow Calendar access on iOS/iPad, reminder fields are written on-device into Apple Calendar. That write stays on the device / iCloud Calendar as configured in your Apple ID — we do not send Apple Calendar data to our servers.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate safeguards.
• With your consent for a specific purpose.

We do not share your reminder content with advertising networks. We do not use your Area location data for advertising.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to provide core functionality. These providers process data under their own privacy policies, limited to what is needed for the Services:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication (for example phone OTP), Cloud Messaging (push notification delivery), and Remote Config. We do not currently use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics in the app.
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — iOS/iPad subscriptions and purchases.
• Google Play Billing — Android subscriptions and purchases.
• RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management across platforms (purchase tokens / opaque app user identifiers; not your reminder content).
• Our cloud hosting / API infrastructure — to store synced account content and operate the backend.
• Google Calendar API — only if you connect Google Calendar. Used to exchange your authorization code for a refresh token and to create, update, or delete events we export from Eazy Reminder. See Section 6.1.
• Apple EventKit / Calendar (on-device) — only if you allow Calendar access on iOS/iPad. This is an operating-system API on your device, not a transfer of calendar data to our servers.
• Device / OS speech recognition (Apple or Google, as provided by the OS) — only if you use voice commands. Used to turn speech into text on the device.

Not currently active in the app: Google AdMob (or other ad networks); Firebase Analytics; Firebase Crashlytics. Those will not be enabled without updating this Privacy Policy and the corresponding App Store / Play Console privacy disclosures.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

6.1 Google API Services — Limited Use

Eazy Reminder’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the app (exporting your Eazy Reminder reminders to your Google Calendar). We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising, including personalized or retargeted ads. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except (a) as necessary to provide or improve the user-facing features, (b) for security purposes, or (c) to comply with applicable law. We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless (i) we have your affirmative consent for specific messages, (ii) it is necessary for security / legal compliance, or (iii) the data is aggregated and not identifiable. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings.

7. Permissions We Use

Depending on the features you use, Eazy Reminder may request the following device permissions. You can grant or deny them in system settings; some features will not work if a required permission is denied.

Apple / iOS note: Background location is used only for Area / arrive reminders you enable. You can change location access to Never or While Using, or disable Area reminders in Settings → Location. Calendar access is used only if you enable Apple Calendar export.

Google Play / Android note: Background location, exact alarms, notifications, camera, microphone, and contacts are requested only for the purposes described above and in our Play Console declarations.

8. Confidentiality

Reminders, notes, Todos, attachments (including voice memos, photos, documents, and medical or financial content you choose to store), share-group details, Area reminder settings, clock alarms, calendar events, and optional calendar-export tokens are treated as private user content. We use them only to provide the Services. Location used for Area reminders is processed only to trigger those reminders and is treated as confidential reminder-related data.

9. Security

• We use commercially reasonable security practices, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our systems, and we encrypt Google Calendar refresh tokens at rest.
• No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
• You are responsible for safeguarding access to your device and account (including OTP-based sign-in).
• If you are located outside India and use the Services, your information may be processed in India and/or other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Services you consent to such transfer where required by applicable law.
• SHREEKUNJ SOFTECH does not control Apple App Store or Google Play Store billing systems.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Access and request a copy of personal data we hold about you;
• Update or correct inaccurate personal data;
• Delete your account or request deletion of personal data;
• Object to or request restriction of certain processing;
• Revoke device permissions (location, contacts, notifications, microphone, camera, calendar, speech recognition, etc.) in system settings;
• Disable Area reminders in the app (Settings → Location);
• Disconnect Google Calendar in Settings (revokes our token; events already created in Google Calendar remain until you delete them there);
• Turn off Apple Calendar export / revoke Calendar permission on iOS (stops new writes; existing Apple Calendar events remain until you delete them in Calendar);
• Contact us about privacy questions; and
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.

Location / Area reminders: Disabling Area reminders or withdrawing location permission stops background location use for arrive reminders. Storing a place on a reminder without enabling Area reminders does not require continuous background location.

11. Cookies (Website)

Our marketing website may use cookies or similar technologies for basic site function and, where used, measurement. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website features. Third-party cookies, if any, are governed by those parties’ policies.

12. Children’s Privacy

Eazy Reminder is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

13. International Users / GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or another region with similar laws, we process personal data in accordance with applicable law (including the GDPR where it applies). You may exercise the rights in Section 10. For general GDPR information, see https://gdpr.eu.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Subject to mandatory local consumer protections, any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy may be instituted in the courts of Gujarat, India, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts to the extent permitted by law.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes that affect App Store or Google Play disclosures will be reflected in those store questionnaires as well. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.

16. Deleted Data Requests

If you need help recovering information related to a deletion or quality issue, contact support@eazyreminder.com. Recovery may not always be possible after permanent deletion.

17. Miscellaneous

Please also read our Terms of Service. By accessing the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict about interpretation of this Privacy Policy, Eazy Reminder’s reasonable interpretation shall apply to the extent permitted by law, without limiting any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.
